美国国务院日前公布了2017年六月份的绿卡和移民签证排期，中国 EB-1 类别自去年8月份以来首次出现排期，而且大跨步倒退到2012年1月1号。
除中印以外其他国家的EB1申请均无排期（cutoff date），也就是说这些国家的申请人递交的I-485下个月有机会被批准，而中印EB-1则必须优先日期早于2012年1月1号的才有可能。
EB-1递交I-485不受影响，因为世界范围内，包括中国，都没有排期。移民局稍后会发布各个类别递交调整身份申请的具体排期。
国务院上个月警告过一类可能出现排期，并且在六月份的排期表中做出解释。主要原因是中印两国EB-1调整身份的申请居高不下，为了不超过2017年度限额，只好后退。国务院预计在本年度剩余的四个月中EB1依然会有排期，直到9月30号结束。美国政府的财政年是每年的10月1日到次年的9月30日，所以从10月份开始就有新一年的绿卡名额了。
The continued high level of demand for E1 numbers for USCIS adjustment of status applicants has required the establishment of a date for June. This has been done in an attempt to hold number use within the Worldwide E1 annual limit. The E1 date for these two countries will once again become CURRENT for October, the first month of fiscal year 2018.
其他类别：中国EB2的排期小幅前进，但是EB3停滞不前。原因是大批EB2申请人降级到EB3，如果这个趋势继续下去的话最迟8月份中国EB3的排期也会倒退:
preference applicant demand during the past month. This is due to the “downgrading” of status by applicants who had originally filed in the Employment Second preference. This has resulted in the Third preference final action date being held for the month of June. Continued heavy demand for numbers will require a retrogression of this date no later than August to hold number use within the FY-2017 annual limit.
